I'm Lydia Garcia, the artist, architect, and interior designer behind this creative journey. My work is more than just creations; it’s a reflection of my passion and intention to infuse every piece with love and care.

The name art_lyheart beautifully encapsulates my mission: "art" for the creations I bring to life, "ly" as a personal touch from my name "Lydia", and "heart" because every artwork is made with heartfelt dedication.

Chilhood and Early Artistic Challenges

Since school, my favorite subject—and the one I excelled at—was Artistic Drawing.

Every painting assignment felt like a challenge to overcome, pushing me to improve and explore new ways of expressing myself. My love for nature and flowers has also been present since childhood.

Architecture: a Foundation for Creativity

Earning my degree in Architecture not only gave me strong technical training but also enhanced my creativity and provided me with drawing and design tools that I continue to apply in my artistic work today.

First Experiments and Commissions

While studying, I began experimenting with textures in my first artistic works. This process led to my first commissions, making me realize that my art could evoke emotions and become part of other people’s spaces.

Competitions and Recognition

Participating in speed painting competitions in Spain was a turning point. Not only did it challenge me technically, but it also opened doors—leading to my first award and the opportunity to sell my paintings to clients.

Interior Design and Connecting with Spaces

After specializing in Interior Design, I spent 7 years working in renowned design studios, refining my creative, technical, and project management skills.

During those years, I discovered my true passion: transforming spaces and connecting with clients by creating environments that reflect emotions and personality.

A Journey of Inspiration

Traveling to Asian countries like Japan and Thailand helped me reconnect with my deepest artistic side and develop it fully.

The aesthetics, nature, and spirituality of these places left a lasting impact on my work, inspiring me to explore new forms of expression.

Today, my art and design expertise come together in one space. Through my website and online store, I offer original artworks, high-quality reproductions, and a service that merges art with interior design—creating pieces that interact with their surroundings and evoke emotions.
